Following a competitive tendering process Actiform were awarded the contract to design, manufacture and deliver a 3 storey Off Site Engineered Office and Welfare Facility on behalf of the CVB Joint Venture at their Chambers Wharf Site.
In accordance with our clients commitment to prioritise river transportation, all the off site engineered sections and materials where delivered to site via pontoons on the River Thames, and offloaded directly from the pontoons onto site.
The building was designed to house approximately 140 Office Staff, and providing Welfare and Canteen Facilities for approximately 200 personnel, along with Occupational Health Facilities, Training Rooms, a Gym and Laundry Facilities.
The building features included:
- Suspended Ceilings
- VRF Air Conditioning Systems
- Dehumidifier Systems (to Dry Rooms)
- DDA Platform Lift
- LED Lighting throughout operated from PIR’s
- Infa Red Operated Taps
- Automatic Sliding Entrance Doors
- Feature Windows (solar glazed)
- Plumbed in water chillers
- Fully glazed partitions with integral blinds
- LFolding/Stacking wall system
The project was completed on budget and on time, and resulted in Actiform being awarded a further 3 projects (Greenwich, Deptford and EARL Pumping Station) on this section of works.
